CHORIZO SLOPPY JOE WITH GUACAMOLE
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. Hatfield® Chorizo Sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 14oz. tomato puree
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 Brioche buns
- Guacamole
Preparation:
- In a large saute pan add oil, chorizo and onion.
- Cook for 5-8 minutes breaking apart into pieces.
- Add brown sugar, tomato puree, salt and pepper.
- Sauce will begin to evaporate and thicken (approximately 5-8 minutes).
- Toast bun, top with chorizo mixture and dollop with guacamole.
- Serve with sweet potato fries drizzled with Chipotle Ketchup.
