Prima Porta® Hot Italian rope sausage, cooked and cut into slices
4 – flatbread (purchased)
¼ cup rough chopped basil
1 head broccoli rabe, chopped
½ cup roasted red peppers
1 ½ cup shredded four cheese mixture
1 cup Marinara sauce
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook off sausage until done or internal temperature reaches 160°F. In a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add olive oil and allow to heat up. Add diced onion, broccoli rabe and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Place flatbread on prepared baking sheet. Spread marinara sauce, top with broccoli rabe mixture and roasted red peppers. Top with cheese.
Cook until cheese is melted and garnish with fresh chopped basil
