SPICY ITALIAN SAUSAGE FLATBREAD
Ingredients:
- 2 pre-made flatbread or house made
- 1 lb fully cooked spicy Italian sausage
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium- high heat. Add peppers and onions, sauté till slightly translucent, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove, place in bowl and set aside. Heat sausage in same pan until hot.
- Place flatbread on sheet pan and top with sausage, peppers, onions and mozzarella. 8-10 minutes until edges are slightly brown.
